Description
Get up early with high tide, before the dogwalkers appear, and the beach will have plenty of birds in easy reach of a short stroll. lastúrničiar strakatý, hvizdák veľký, volavka popolavá and kalužiak červenonohý are all likely on the beach around the waterline. kamenár strakatý, vrana popolavá and Pied Wagtail may be more likely on exposed seaweed or flotsam around the tide mark. havran čierny is also possible. kormorán chochlatý is most likely hauled out on rocky outcrops, although kormorán veľký is becoming more common in recent times. čajka smejivá is common with occasional čajka čiernohlavá. kajka morská and kačica divá are likely in the water.
For a slightly longer walk a path goes along the cliffs at the north end of the bay where ľabtuška skalná, pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý and čavka červenozobá could be encountered.

Douglas is located on the southeastern coast of Isle of Man. The beach is a short walk from the ferry terminal, and likely near to your hotel if you are staying in Douglas.
