Description
The Set River near Aspa is a good place to look for birds of steep rocky arid habitats. The most interesting species you can observe are skaliarik bielochvostý, skaliar modrý, krakľa belasá, and strakoš prieložný. At night, výr skalný can be heard and with luck, seen. Other resident birds species present in the area are holub plúžik, žlna pyrenejská, čavka červenozobá, and pipíška vavrínová.
During the breeding season, some remarkable summer species are: haja tmavá, hrdlička poľná, lastovička červenochrbtá, and skaliarik okrový. In winter, in the deciduous forest the most interesting species are drozd červenkavý and glezg obyčajný.

Access
Aspa is located near Lleida. The site can only be reached by car. Press P on the map for directions. Park close to the road, and walk following the paved road direction east, looking for birds on the cliffs and in the deciduous forest and birds present on the river.
