Description
Mauensee is a beautiful lake, complete with a little island boasting it’s own castle. There’s a trail leading around the lake (3,3 km). It's a beautiful walk very close to Sursee. bocian biely, volavka popolavá are breeding birds here. During migration anything is possible.
Among the birds you can see in winter are kačica lyžičiarka, hlaholka severská and potápač veľký.
