Lake İznik is big, it is approximately 32 kilometers in length and 10 kilometers in width. No big groups of birds but the lake is nice to visit when you are in the area. You can visit several spots around the lake and the surrounding is pretty nice to see. Birds you can encounter on the lake include potápka chochlatá, potápka malá, kačica lyžičiarka, chochlačka bielooká, chochlačka sivá, chochlačka vrkočatá and kormorán malý.

Lake İznik is located north of the city of Bursa, near the town of İznik. You can visit Lake İznik by car. Car driving is the easiest way to see many locations around this big lake. It is easy to drive all around the lake, but keep in mind that the lake is very large and a round trip is about 90 km.
