You can drive around Lake Ladik easily. It is a nice place to do birding because there are forests, gardens, meadows, a lake, mud flats, reed beds, etc. During spring migration, you can see thousands of lastovička obyčajná and brehuľa hnedá on the lake site. pelikán ružový can be seen there, too. chochlačka bielooká is another species highlighted here. žlna zelená and hltavka chochlatá can be seen around the lake. orliak morský and kormorán veľký, which also can be observed, are typical birds in such wetlands in Turkey.

Access
You can go explore the Lake Ladik area by car. It is close to the main roads. There is one main road passing through from southern part of the lake. It is possibe to drive around the lake site by village roads. Zoom in on the map and click on a P in the map for directions or coordinates.
