Description
The brickworks only closed in the 1980’s and since then the buildings were cleared with just concrete foundations and a brick wharf giving any hint to the history of this site. slávik obyčajný and hrdlička poľná can be heard, and a colony of čajka čiernohlavá are usually found nesting offshore on Fowley Island. Among the other birds you can encounter in the area are penica popolavá, bernikľa tmavá, kazarka pestrá, kukučka obyčajná, potápač prostredný, šabliarka modronohá, lastúrničiar strakatý, kulík bledý, cibík chochlatý, hvizdák veľký, pobrežník čiernozobý and brehár čiernochvostý.
