Description
Located 800 feet up and three quarters of a mile from the nearest road, Edgehills is surrounded by oak and pine woodland. It contains flowers such as brooklime, gorse, figwort, ladys mantle, heath bedstraw, tormentil and lousewort. The pond attracts dragonflies and amphibians, hence sokol lastovičiar is a possibility. Look out for sluka hôrna and lelek lesný on late spring evenings. Also brhlík obyčajný, kôrovník dlhoprstý, pŕhľaviar čiernohlavý, kolibiarik sykavý, woodpeckers and strnádka obyčajná.
