Description
At Ewelme the overgrown watercress beds provide shelter for rodents, which in turn attracts bird predators such as plamienka driemavá, haja červená, 3 egret species and volavka popolavá. Smaller birds include zelienka obyčajná, stehlík obyčajný, penica čiernohlavá and strnádka trstinová, pursued by jastrab krahulec. King's Pool may have rybárik riečny, potápka malá, sliepočka vodná, chochlačka vrkočatá and lyska čierna.

Access
From Oxford take A423 south for 12 miles then minor road left through Benson. There is no car park at the Watercress beds but onstreet parking in the village centre, plus car park near playground. Reserve access is free and unrestricted. Visitor centre admission £3, restricted hours.
