Description
Around the Fish Quay in Hartlepool gulls hang around, especially on the roof. Often joined in winter by čajka bielokrídla and čajka bledá. In the harbour entrance kajka morská, potáplica malá, potáplica veľká and norec tenkozobý can often be seen. Sea watching by the lighthouse can produce a large variety of gulls, ducks, auks, terns, skua’s and shearwaters at various times of the year. The rocks along side the promenade are home to pobrežník morský, lastúrničiar strakatý and kamenár strakatý that winter in Hartlepool bay.
