Description
Hooks Links is named after its previous usage as a nine-hole golf course. Shingle coast with lots of waders. Behind the beach mud flats, reed beds and scapes with gorse and meander pools. Good for waders, beluša malá, skaliarik sivý, trasochvost žltý and pŕhľaviar červenkastý. fúzatka trstinová are regularly seen, also penica hnedá. Access
Park on road just south of Maritime college. Numerous footpaths to the beach which take you past reed beds. See the suggested route (4,5 km) on the map below. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking area.
