Description
Pilning Wetland is very good for waders at most times including pobrežník čiernozobý, hvizdák veľký, močiarnica mekotavá, pobrežník belavý and sandpipers. Geese and dabbling ducks all year, especially in winter. Two šišila bocianovítá here in 2021.

A403 northward from Avonmouth or southward from M48 Aust services, junction one. Take B4055 Redwick turning, then right over M4. plenty of roadside parking in New Passage Road. Reserve is a short walk across fields. As of 2021 reconstruction of the seawall meant parts of the reserve were off limits. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 2,5 km.
