Description
The flooded former gravel workings in the Kennet valley running over four miles from south west Reading to Sulhampstead attracts birds all year round. Among the birds you can encounter are penica čiernohlavá, penica popolavá, penica slávikovitá, cetia západná, sokol lastovičiar and slávik obyčajný. There is a substantial population of Winter ducks, mostly dabbling, including hundreds of chochlačka vrkočatá, kačica chripľavka and kačica hvizdárka and the odd hlaholka severská.
