Description
On the island of Tiree 133 bird species have been seen. The freshwater Loch a'Phuill attracts waders such as kalužiak tmavý, kulík vrchovský, kalužiak sivý and kalužiačik malý. In the dunes there may be ostrohárka severská, snehuľka severská, chrapkáč poľný, myšiarka močiarna or svrčiak zelenkavý. The cliffs at Ceann a Mhara are a useful seawatch point in autumn and have breeding norec tenkozobý, alka vrúbkozobá, fulmar ľadový, čajka trojprstá, kormorán chochlatý and perhaps sokol sťahovavý or čavka červenozobá.

Access
Tiree is reached by ferry from the mainland, or by air from Glasgow. The loch and cliffs are accessed from Barrapol or Balephuil in the island's SW corner.
