The Mangelbeek Valley is a nature reserve consisting of marshes, alder swamp forests, peaty birch forests, ponds, and reed beds. A route through the Mangelbeek Valley takes you through diverse landscapes. The wetland habitats attract numerous water and marsh birds. For example kozica, modra taščica, bičja trstnica, srpična trstnica, trstni strnad, Sršenar, močvirska sinica, prosnik and siva čaplja.
