Description
Nordhavnstippen mainly consists of two lakes and surrounding meadows, bushes, and reedbeds. The surrouding habitat is home to rumenoglavi kraljicek, stržek, ščinkavec etc. In the lakes, it is common to encounter wintering čopasta črnica, žvižgavka, and konopnica etc. Other winter visitors include snežni strnad and brezovcek, while in the summer it welcomes poljski škrjanec and rjavovrati ponirek. Out in the sea, veliki kormoran and gaga are common, and with a bit of luck, you can also spot feeding strmoglavec. During migration, the strait next to Nordhavstippen is a busy flyway, offering chances to see species like ribji orel and žerjav.

Nordhavnstippen is located in Copenhagen, in outer Nordhavn neighbourhood. The closest metro stop is Orientkaj (M4). Count another 30 minutes of walking from this metro stop (1). The much nearer bus stop (2) Færgehavn Nord (Kattegatvej) is served by Line 164. From this bus stop, you can reach Nordhavnstippen in 10 minutes on foot. The most convinient way to reach this area is by bike.
