Gravière Vogelau is a former gravel pit, now transformed into a landscape featuring ponds and wetlands. Many veliki kormoran and mlakarica are seen throughout the year, often with kanadska gos and some siva gos. In winter, čopasta črnica and konopnica are common, and sometimes žvižgavka and even dolgorepa raca are also seen.
