Description
The proximity to the Ulcinj salina and exit to the Adriatic sea makes the island Ada Bojana a great migration route for birds. Large flocks of reglja, žličarica, žvižgavka, mali galeb, črnoglavi galeb fly over the island on migration. It is wintering site for great numbers of rdečegrli slapnik and kričava cigra, but polarni slapnik, Rumenokljuni viharnik (diomedea) and beloliska too. During breeding season plevica and žličarka feed in the marshes.

Access
Ada Bojana can be accessed by car, but if you want to visit whole beach and other parts of island you need to go by foot. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking spot.
