Çamlıca Hill (Büyük Çamlıca Tepesi) is a hill in the Üsküdar district of the Asian side of Istanbul, at 288 m above sea level. Çamlıca Hill offers a panoramic view of the southern part of Bosphorus and the mouth of the Golden Horn. Especially during bird migration in September and October, the birding can be fantastic here, when you can catch sight of many raptors and other migratory birds gliding over the strait. Birds you can observe include mali klinkač, kačar, škrjančar, mali orel, skobec, kratkonogi skobec, Sršenar, črni škarnik, črna štorklja and bela štorklja.

Access
Çamlıca Hill is located on the Asian side of Istanbul, in the Üsküdar district. The quickest and cheapest way to get there is the metro. Hop on the M5 line from Üsküdar and ride to Kısıklı Station (1). From there, it’s about 1100 meter (a 15-minute uphill walk) to the hilltop. If you arrive by car or taxi: there is a parking place on the top. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. Çamlıca Hill is open daily until 21:30. You’ll find Ottoman-style teahouses and cafes scattered throughout the park.
