Description

Yeniçağ Gölü is a natural lake with a length of 7 km and a width of 2.5 km. The water level of the lake varies seasonally depending on the rainfall. The area around the lake is reedy and swampy. The lake has a bird watching tower. I often go and observe and take bird photos. Among the birds you can encounter are rjasta kozarka, reglja, turška kotorna, polojnik, kosec, grahasta tukalica,mala tukalica, Prlivka, beloperuta čigra, črna štorklja, bobnarica, čapljica, rjava čaplja, čopasta čaplja, kvakač, žličarka, rjavi jastreb, beloglavi jastreb, mali klinkač, kraljevi orel, planinski orel, rjavi lunj, močvirski lunj, pepelasti lunj,rjasta kanja, veliki skovik, zlatovranka, rdečenoga postovka, tamariskovka, pisana penica, turški brglez, balkanski muhar, belovrati muhar, vrtni strnad and črnoglavi strnad.
