Description
Brandon Marsh has 8 bird hides situated around the reserve, overlooking pools hosting flocks of žvižgavka, kreheljc and žličarica in winter, amongst smaller numbers of zvonec. Scrapes host passage waders in spring and autumn, with breeding rdečenogi martinec, školjkarica and mali deževnik in summer. Other notable breeding species include good numbers of srpična trstnica, bičja trstnica and svilnica, kukavica and Mokož. škrjančar are everpresent throughout summer and into autumn. During the winter Brandon is often host to a Caspian Gull which winters amongst the gulls on East Marsh, with a few Yellow-legged Gulls mixed in too. Notable rarities over the last few years have included ploskokljunec and prekomorski prodnik, ploskokljuni liskonožec, vijeglavka and rjavoglavi srakoper.

Located off Brandon lane, best access is by driving but it is possible to cycle or walk from nearby Brandon village or Binley. Once parked, explore the reserve on foot.
