Description
Caswell Bay is a coastal area on the south east of the Gower Peninsula. You can walk along the coast and cliffs. The Bishop's Wood nature reserve sits behind the bay, a rare example of a limestone woodland. You can see many different birds in and around the bay. In the skies look out for the rare planinska vrana. Other relatively rare birds are sokol selec and krokar, and you may also see (or hear) zelena žolna, poljski škrjanec, kanja, lišček, kalin and prosnik. Other birds you can encounter are kreheljc, kukavica, hudournik and školjkarica.

Access
There is good access to Caswell Bay by car and public transport. To the east is a well maintained coastal path leading to the neighbouring Langland Bay. To the west is a more rural path leading to Brandy Cove and Pwlldu Bay. You can also make a circular walk (see the link below).
