Description

Coll RSPB reserve has a car park and visitor centre. kosec breed in the area. Coll and Tiree have one third of the UK population. severni repnik, pepelasti lunj and mali sokol also breed. The island is a vital stopover and wintering area for arctic breeders such as kratkokljuna gos, Greenland beločela gos and belolična gos, ledni slapnik, skuas, morski prodnik, kamenjar and godwits. atlantski viharnik and storm petrels offshore.

Access

Coll is reached by ferry from Oban. Delays are likely. The reserve is six miles SW of Arinagour, pass the airstrip and turn left to Totronald.
