Autumn and winter bring an increase in wildfowl and passage birds, with kanadska gos , siva gos , mlakarica , kreheljc and žvižgavka using the canal and nearby waters. priba , kozica and Mokož may appear in wetter areas, while rečni galeb , srebrni galeb and rjavi galeb gather on open water and fields.
