Description
Frenchman's Rocks is a useful seawatch point in late summer and early autumn, best when a SW or NW wind is blowing. Best views are from the hill next to Wavegen Power Station, called Rubha na Faing on the Ordnance Survey map. There is a car park at Claddach near Currie Sands beach.
Birds to see are rjavka, crna raca, ledni slapnik, polarni slapnik, rdečegrli slapnik, črni viharnik, atlantski viharnik, balearski viharnik, viharni strakoš, velika govnačka, lopatasta govnačka, bodičasta govnačka, polarna čigra, lastovičji galeb, triprsti galeb, progastorepi kljunač, obalna vriskarica, kamenjar and morski prodnik.
