Description
Llandegla Forest is one of the few places in Wales to see ruševec lekking. The RSPB have a hide and as of 2022, guided walks, see their website. Among the other birds you can observe in the area are podhujka, Red Grouse, travniška cipa, močvirska uharica, mali sokol, prosnik, repaljščica, kukavica, cikovt, zelena žolna, kanja, rjavi škarnik, pepelasti lunj and kupcar.

8 miles west of Wrexham on the Ruthin road. Click on the P in the map for directions. Bus X51 runs hourly, Mon to Sat and 2-hourly Sundays from either town. Nearest train station, Wrexham.
