Description

Loddon Nature Reserve entails a lake with surrounding trees, familiar to anyone who has visited nearby Dinton Pastures. A path circles the lake and connects with a route to Dinton Pastures along the Loddon river, making the area perfect for birding.

On the lake expect to see labod grbec, čopasta črnica, žličarica and siva gos. In the shallows look out for mandarinka and zelenonoga tukalica. This is also a good site for seeing woodland birds including veliki detel, dolgoprsti plezalček and šoja.
