Description
Malham Cove is a regular nest site for sokol selec, mestna lastovka, čuk, pogorelček and kupcar. RSPB volunteers with telescope in attendance. Malham Tarn is a National Nature Reserve and SSSI. There are breeding rdečenogi martinec, rumena pastirica, siva pastirica, povodni kos, priba, mali martinec and water voles. Possibility of dular in autumn and snežni strnad in winter.

Access
Malham is a short way north of the A65 transpennine road from Lancaster to Skipton. There is no car parking at the Cove, park in Malham village and walk or cycle up. For Malham tarn, leave Malham northward on Cove road and turn right at crossroads.
