Description
The flooded former gravel workings in the Kennet valley running over four miles from south west Reading to Sulhampstead attracts birds all year round. Among the birds you can encounter are črnoglavka, mlinarček, vrtna penica, svilnica, škrjančar and slavec. There is a substantial population of Winter ducks, mostly dabbling, including hundreds of čopasta črnica, konopnica and žvižgavka and the odd zvonec.
