Description
On the island of Tiree 133 bird species have been seen. The freshwater Loch a'Phuill attracts waders such as črni martinec, dular, zelenonogi martinec and mali martinec. In the dunes there may be laponski ostroglež, snežni strnad, kosec, močvirska uharica or kobiličar. The cliffs at Ceann a Mhara are a useful seawatch point in autumn and have breeding lumna, njorka, ledni viharnik, triprsti galeb, vranjek and perhaps sokol selec or planinska vrana.

Access
Tiree is reached by ferry from the mainland, or by air from Glasgow. The loch and cliffs are accessed from Barrapol or Balephuil in the island's SW corner.
