Plateau du Gerny is an area of open fields surrounded by bushes. Riđa lunja and Crna lunja are frequent. Annual observations of Planinski zujavac, Eja livadarka, Stepska trepteljka and sometimes Ždral on the ground. Rare visiors that have been observed in the area are Ričardova stepska trepteljka, Riđogrla trepteljka, Beloglava strnadica, Vinogradska strnadica, Snežna strnadica, Pupavac, Gaćasti mišar, Stepska eja, Patuljasti orao, Bela lunja and Siva vetruška.

You can visit the main part of Plateau du Gerny by car but the eastern part is forbidden for cars. The circular route indicated on the map is about 8 km.
