Description
The village of Gásadalur is famous for the Múlafossar waterfall, but is also a nice birding location. Both at the waterfall and at the bird cliffs on the north side of the village, you can experience the seabirds. The species that you can often see above the sea are Morski papagaj, Kratkorepi pomornik and Veliki pomornik. Also Obična bluna regularly fly by. Burnjak is also easy to spot and beautiful to observe. On the water you can find Crna njorka. They regularly take off, making them easy to observe.
Just before the village, next to the road, there is a colony of Arktička čigra. And when walking through the village, to the slightly higher bird cliffs, you can encounter species such as Livadska trepteljka and Obična beloguza.

Access
Gásadalur is located at the end of the main road across the island of Vágar. After a narrow tunnel, you'll see the village. At the first farm, you can park your car along the road for easy access to the waterfall. A little further on, below the village, there's a larger parking lot where you can also park your car. Press "P" on the map for directions to a parking spot. There's also a bus to Gásadalur. The circular walk shown on the map is approximately 2 km.
