Description
The pond of Rixdorfer Teich is popular with typical urban birds like Dugorepa senica, Crvendać and Sojka, as well as waterfowl like Labud grbac, Mandarinka and Barska kokica.
Some of the usual Velika senica are very used to humans and will even take seeds from the hand. There is a family of Mišar that live in the park, and one or two are usually hanging around in the trees near the pond. In summer many Seoska lasta circle over the pond, and in autumn and winter there are always lots of Češljugar in the alders next to the pond.
