Description
The Knarbos Oost is a young forest area with reeds and small marshy parts. You can spot almost all summer guest songbirds there, because there are so many hawthorn bushes. For example Mali slavuj, Obična grmuša, Grmuša čavrljanka and Žuti voljić. In the young forest you can already find Veliki detlić and Mali detlić. In the fields around the forest, the Planinski zujavac is sometimes seen in the spring, and in the winter Gaćasti mišar and Mali soko.

Nederlands: Het Knarbos Oost is een mooi, klein bosgebied met veel zangvogels. Het is een jong bosgebied met riet en kleine moerassen. Je kunt er nagenoeg alle zomergast zangvogels spotten, omdat er zoveel meidoornstruiken zijn. Bijvoorbeeld Mali slavuj, Obična grmuša, Grmuša čavrljanka en Žuti voljić. In het jonge bos zitten al Veliki detlić en Mali detlić. In de akkers rond het bos wordt in het voorjaar wel eens de Planinski zujavac gezien en in de winter Gaćasti mišar en Mali soko.

Knarbos Oost is located south of Lelystad Airport. It is easily accessible via Vogelweg N706. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The area is best explored on foot. The circular walk indicated on the map is approximately 4 km.
