Description
Playa de los Genoveses is located in the Cabo de Gata–Níjar Natural Park. It’s a wide, crescent‑shaped bay with a sandy beach and shallow water. The landscape around it is a mix of dunes, bushes, and hills, which gives the beach a quiet atmosphere. Very easy access from the free parking lot in winter and until spring. A walk in the surrounding area holds some lovely surprises. On the beach you can find Morski žalar and Bela sprutka. In the bushes and shrubs: Zapadna ćubasta ševa, Španska crna beloguza, Sredozemna crnoglava grmuša, Crvenoglavi svračak and Vetruška. Regularly Zeba trubačica is observed in the area.
