This is a great place for migrant waterbirds and other lake birds! A lot of rare birds visit this island each year and there is always something interesting to see! Most rarities turn up in April, May, September or October.

Migrating waders in spring and autumn, including Ostrigar, Vlastelica, Sabljarka, Crni sprudnik, Morski žalar, Srebrni vivak, Šljuka kamenjarka, Laponska muljača and many more. Also Mali galeb, Barski petlić, Crna čigra, Belokrila čigra and Belobrka čigra and raptors and passerines pass over this spot.
