Description
Around the Yedikır Dam, there is a plain where the wintering Ritska sova population occurs. Also, the wintering Lisasta guska flocks occur around the dam. Beside, the Mali ždral breeds close to the dam which is the modern breeding couple of the species in Turkey. Ćurlikovac can be seen in the northern part of the lake in the flat dusty areas. You can see Žalar slepić, Belorepan, Prepelica, Patka njorka, Riđoglava patka and many more. Also, this area always has a possibility to see rare species there such as Belolika guska which is the second record for Turkey. Buljina can be seen there which would be an uncommon record of the species. Therefore, it is obvious that you should go to the dam area to do birdwatching if you can.
