Description
Yeniçağ Gölü is a natural lake with a length of 7 km and a width of 2.5 km. The water level of the lake varies seasonally depending on the rainfall. The area around the lake is reedy and swampy. The lake has a bird watching tower. I often go and observe and take bird photos. Among the birds you can encounter are Utva zlatokrila, Grogotovac, Turska kamenjarka, Vlastelica, Prdavac, Barski petlić,Sivi barski petlić, Ćurlikovac, Belokrila čigra, Crna roda, Vodeni bik, Čapljica, Crvena čaplja, Žuta čaplja, Gak, Kašičar, Crni strvinar, Beloglavi sup, Orao kliktaš, Krstaš, Suri orao, Eja močvarica, Eja livadarka, Poljska eja,Riđi mišar, Ćuk, Modrovrana, Siva vetruška, Ševarski trstenjak, Pirgasta grmuša, Turski brgljez, Istočna šarena muharica, Belovrata muharica, Vinogradska strnadica and Crnoglava strnadica.
