Pools along the River Almond surrounded by riparian forest and open fields. You can reach the Almond Pools by a flat riverside trail from South Livingston. Birds you can observe include waterbirds like Mali gnjurac, Labud grbac, Barska kokica, Krdža, Ćubasta patka, Patka dupljašica, Veliki ronac, Srebrnasti galeb and also several species of woodland birds.

Access
The Almond Pools are located 20 miles west of Edinburgh, near South Livingston. Parking for about 10 cars at the trailhead. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. The trail along the River Almond can be very muddy.
