Description
Blakeney Point is a National Nature Reserve and AONB. Thriving nesting site for Obična čigra, Arktička čigra, Dugokljuna čigra and Mala čigra. Also Obični galeb and occasional Crnoglavi galeb. Common and grey seals breed. Winter wildfowl such as Gavka, Crni turpan and Kratkokljuna guska. And rare passage autumn migrants such as Veliki svračak, Ričardova stepska trepteljka, Šarenokrili azijski zviždak and Pirgasta grmuša. Trstenjak rogožar and Trstenjak crvrkutić in the reed beds.

Access
Parking at Cley for those attempting the long difficult walk on shifting shingle to the point. NB the Visitor Centre is currently closed. Park at Morton Quay or Blakeney Quay for boat trips. Check tide times as the car park can get flooded, also boats only run 4 hours either side of high tide. See the link to the tides table below.
