Description
Blashford Lakes is a good place for birdwatching, as it has a large amount of bird species there. Blashford Lakes is a great place for observing overwintering birds such as Vodeni bik, Brkata senica and Velika bela čaplja . The more regular species of this reserve include, a breeding colony of Bregunica, breeding Vodomar and Ćubasti gnjurac. On the lakes you can also spot wintering wildfowl such as Patka dupljašica and Veliki ronac.

Access
Blasford Lakes is between Poulner and Verwood ( which are both small towns ), and is easily accessed from both of these locations. If you go to Blashford the carpark for the reserve is in the education centre on the southside of Ellingham road.
