Description
Chafford Gorges is a beautiful nature reserve set in amongst a new build housing estate, with lakes overlooked by a huge white ravine. A network of pathways take you around lakes, meadows and woodland. Among the birds that you can expect to see are Vodomar, Veliki detlić, Zelena žuna, Bregunica, Plovka kašikara, Ćubasta patka, Mali gnjurac, Kobac, Trstenjak rogožar, Trstenjak crvrkutić, Crnoglava grmuša, Češljugar and Svilorepi cvrčić. In winter, the gorges are visited by birds such as Čižak, Mala brezova juričica and Riđoglava patka.

The park is within walking distance of Chafford Hundred railway station. When you choose to arrive by car there is a free car park on site. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
