Description
The brickworks only closed in the 1980’s and since then the buildings were cleared with just concrete foundations and a brick wharf giving any hint to the history of this site. Mali slavuj and Grlica can be heard, and a colony of Crnoglavi galeb are usually found nesting offshore on Fowley Island. Among the other birds you can encounter in the area are Grmuša čavrljanka, Grivasta guska, Šarena utva, Obična kukavica, Srednji ronac, Sabljarka, Ostrigar, Srebrni vivak, Vivak, Velika carska šljuka, Crnotrba sprutka and Muljača.
