Description
Gronant has 200 pairs of breeding Mala čigra and some Dugokljuna čigra and Obična čigra. Several wader species, Vetruška, Kukuvija, Crni turpan, Poljska ševa and Konopljarka. On the 4 ha Big Pool reserve there are Barska strnadica, Trstenjak crvrkutić, Kratkokljuni puzić, Potočna pliska, Siva muharica, Čižak and Barski petlovan. Sand lizards, natterjack toads, pyramid orchids, sea holly, sea purslane and other wildflowers can be found in the dunes.
