Description
At Gunthorpe Gravel Pits 120+ species of bird have been seen, including Mali ronac, Veliki ronac and Srednji ronac in winter, when Vivak, Plovka kašikara and teal can be numerous on flooded fields. Spring brings Trstenjak crvrkutić, Trstenjak rogožar, Cvrčić tršćar to breed, and Crna čigra, Obična beloguza and Obična travarka on migration. In summer, Lastavičar hunt swallows over the ponds.
