The area around Llanarmon DC is predominantly consisting of managed upland moor and shooting estate with sheep farming. Wonderful landscape with peace and solitude in abundance. Great for seeing Riđa lunja and occasional sightings of Poljska eja and Lastavičar. In early summer you can observe Obična kukavica ( usually heard rather than seen) and some Velika carska šljuka pairs on the tops. Vodenkos along the local streams. Siva muharica nests locally.
