Description
On the island of Tiree 133 bird species have been seen. The freshwater Loch a'Phuill attracts waders such as Crni sprudnik, Planinski zujavac, Krivokljuni sprudnik and Polojka. In the dunes there may be Strnadica ostrugašica, Snežna strnadica, Prdavac, Ritska sova or Cvrčić tršćar. The cliffs at Ceann a Mhara are a useful seawatch point in autumn and have breeding Tankokljuna njorka, Oštrokljuna njorka, Burnjak, Troprsti galeb, Morski vranac and perhaps Sivi soko or Crvenokljuna galica.

Access
Tiree is reached by ferry from the mainland, or by air from Glasgow. The loch and cliffs are accessed from Barrapol or Balephuil in the island's SW corner.
