Description
The main attraction of Stack Rocks is the sea bird colony best viewed from May to early July when thousands of Tankokljuna njorka crowd on to the Stacks to breed together with smaller numbers of Oštrokljuna njorka, Morski vranac and Troprsti galeb. Crvenokljuna galica are regular here as are Sivi soko. In the spring and summer Obična beloguza are common on the rocky grassland of the clifftops. In the winter a walk eastwards towards St Govans may produce Mali soko, possibly Poljska eja and good flocks of Zlatni vivak. Offshore the occasional Diver is possible.
