Description
The cliffs themselves and the surrounding chalk grasslands make a unique habitat found in few other places, while the proximity to the continent makes it a popular resting spot for rarities from across the channel. Nesting birds can include Sivi soko, Gavran, Burnjak and even Troprsti galeb. Divers and auks can be seen off the coast in winter, and it is not unusual for rarities to appear: Vijoglava, Palasov zviždak, Kos ogrličar and the occasional shrike.
