Description
Get up early with high tide, before the dogwalkers appear, and the beach will have plenty of birds in easy reach of a short stroll. Кулик-сорока, Кульон великий, Чапля сіра and Коловодник звичайний are all likely on the beach around the waterline. Крем’яшник звичайний, Ворона сіра and плиска біла ssp yarrellii may be more likely on exposed seaweed or flotsam around the tide mark. Грак is also possible. Баклан чубатий is most likely hauled out on rocky outcrops, although Баклан великий is becoming more common in recent times. Мартин звичайний is common with occasional Мартин середземноморський. Пухівка зеленошия and Крижень are likely in the water.
For a slightly longer walk a path goes along the cliffs at the north end of the bay where Щеврик острівний, Трав'янка чорноголова and Клушиця could be encountered.
