Description
The proximity to the Ulcinj salina and exit to the Adriatic sea makes the island Ada Bojana a great migration route for birds. Large flocks of Чирянка велика, Широконіска північна, Свищ євразійський, Мартин малий, Мартин середземноморський fly over the island on migration. It is wintering site for great numbers of Гагара червоношия and Крячок рябодзьобий, but Гагара чорношия, Буревісник cередземноморський (підвид diomedea) and Турпан too. During breeding season Коровайка бура and Косар білий feed in the marshes.

Ada Bojana can be accessed by car, but if you want to visit whole beach and other parts of island you need to go by foot. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking spot.
